Stop learning loss by reading this summer
Research shows that kids who don’t read during the summer break can lose skills and start the next year behind their peers. JPS parents are encouraged to attend a Summer Reading Parent Orientation this Saturday (9:30-noon) at the Mississippi Children’s Museum. You’ll get lots of great information while your children will be allowed to explore themuseum free! You may even receive a free summer reading book.
We partner with JPS, the Jackson-Hinds Library System, Mississippi Public Broadcasting, Lemuria, the Mississippi Children’s Museum and many others to help make reading fun. Click here for a schedule of parties and book clubs.
