Workplace campaigns
United Way runs a fundraising campaign each year. A campaign goal is set every year by the Campaign Cabinet to motivate giving. United Way goes into the workplace to give every employee, as well as the corporation as a whole, the opportunity to give and make a difference in the community. Employee Campaign Coordinators work with United Way staff to plan and carry out the workplace campaign. Through payroll deduction employees can easily give a few dollars out of each paycheck. Individuals giving $500 or more are recognized as Leadership Givers.
Pacesetter Campaign
The Pacesetter Campaign takes place in August. Pacesetter companies run their campaigns early to set a high standard of giving for the general campaign.
General Campaign The general campaign usually begins in September with a Campaign Kickoff.
Month of Caring
August is United Way’s Month of Caring. Companies volunteer for an agency where their employees work and help them for a day.
