Young Leaders in Philanthropy
Young Leaders in Philanthropy inspires community involvement among young professionals by addressing community issues, providing volunteer opportunities, and cultivating an environment of giving and uniting young professionals by cultivating a philanthropic culture throughout Hinds, Madison, and Rankin Counties.
- Imagination Library: Register Metro Area children (birth to age 5) to receive free books, mailed directly to their homes, each month. We are now able to serve more than 35,000 preschoolers due to the generous support of Nissan-Canton.
- Volunteerism: Provide community service opportunities throughout the Metro Area such as Monthly Stewpot Service Day, United Way Day of Action, and various initiative supporting other United Way partners.
- Leadership: Cultivate an environment for professional education, growth, and mentorship with area business leaders such as IBM Leadership Conference, lunch with United Way board members, membership in a nationally recognized, professional organization.
Membership is easy. Simply donate $120 annually (or $10 per month) to United Way and you’re in! We can even do payroll deduction if that helps you to break up your payments.
