CELEBRATE GIVING TUESDAY WITH A GIFT TO UNITED WAY OF THE CAPITAL AREA

United Way of the Capital Area works year-round to ensure we are addressing our community’s most urgent issues. Things like community service, financial stability and education are just a few of the focus-areas we’ve deemed most important as we move into 2024. And we have big plans to fix them.
As we begin to plan for the year ahead and think about the resources we hope to bring to our community, we are looking to you for help. We accomplished so much in 2023 thanks to your support. On Giving Tuesday, you can continue to help United Way in the following ways:
Make a gift. If you have already done so this year, either on your own or through a workplace campaign, thank you. If you would like to make an additional donation to United Way, your support is greatly appreciated. If you haven’t made a gift yet this year but want to support our work in 2024, we would love to have you join us by making an online donation.
Fundraise on Facebook. If you’re on Facebook and would like to display your commitment to United Way to your friends and family, consider creating a Facebook fundraiser. A small goal of $250 goes a long way in support of United Way programs.
Volunteer. If you’re unable to make a gift or are not active on social media, you can still be active in your community. Consider signing up for one of the upcoming holiday volunteer opportunities at United Way or one of our partner agencies to serve your community in fun, uplifting and impactful ways.
