UWCA Serves as Fiscal Agent for $50,000 Wells Fargo Investment Supporting VA Freedom Foods
JACKSON, Miss. — United Way of the Capital Area is proud to serve as the fiscal agent for a $50,000 investment from Wells Fargo supporting VA Freedom Foods and its efforts to provide nutritious meals to veterans and their families through its VA Freedom Foods pantry.
Through this partnership, UWCA will help administer and oversee the investment to ensure sustainable community impact and expanded food access for veterans across the Capital Area.

McCelleis, President and CEO of United Way of the Capital Area. “With United Way of the Capital Area’s support and Wells Fargo’s generous $50,000 contribution, we will help expand access to nutritious meals while ensuring these funds are managed with accountability, transparency, and lasting community impact.”
Leaders with VA Freedom Foods emphasized the importance of the partnership in strengthening services for veterans experiencing food insecurity.
